Totally lucked out this weekend. Forecasts were initially for up to a foot of snow followed by ice. We escaped with only a few inches of snow; we’re still waiting for the deep freeze, anxiously looking out the window, checking the generator and the flashlights, just in case. I guess it will still be quite a while before I get to open the windows to let the freshness of a spring breeze wash through the house, but a girl can dream, can’t she!?! Until then, I’ll enjoy my spring wardrobe and my spring surroundings here on the grid… 😉
