You know how sometimes I write how easily things fall into place? Well, this definitely wasn’t one of those times. Sometimes it’s exactly the opposite, and every single thing is a struggle. Unfortunately, that’s how it’s been the last few days since I got back from my vacation.

First off, I’m sick. Somehow, nothing seems worse than a summer cold. The sun is shining, and everyone is running around with summer activities, and here I am snuffling and sneezing and coughing and blowing my nose nonstop, and basically just feeling lousy. Second, I found the perfect hair demo in my inventory, and couldn’t figure out where I picked it up ANYWHERE. No response from the designer. On top of that, my computer is acting up… nothing specific, just sluggish, freezing more than usual, hanging on FlickR, crashing during SL transport a few times. After a really bad crash like that last night, I reverted… my hair, nails, feet, tattoo, etc. were all back the way they were the day before… not much fun for a fashionista. And then tonight, I finally get myself into the perfect camera angle with what I think is the perfect windlight and boom… not only do I crash, but Windows decides it needs to do an update… and then it has trouble restarting… for more than an hour.  Just what I have the patience to deal with when I’m not feeling well. Grrrrrrrr….. takes a deep breath… well, I managed to stay calm, and personally, I think the results show Sierra off to full advantage one last time while she’s still on her 50% off introduction at the MBA Fair, though I never was able to get quite that same perfect camera angle again… 🙁

So this will be my last post for a week due to the family wedding I mentioned in a previous wedding. Lots of stuff going on in Real Life; it’s all good,  which is great, but it’s all a bit stressful, too, so a short break is most welcome, although it’s definitely a form of stress in and of itself. 7 Deadly S[k]ins has been my go-to skin designer for some time now; it’s extremely rare that I wear a skin by anybody else.  However, although I own two LAQ heads, this is the first time I’ve worn a 7 skin that was actually made specifically for Neve, one of my two heads (the LAQ-designed skins work on all LAQ heads, and my Tonic heads too, and are ALWAYS worth trying). Therefore, I decided to also wear the shape, straight out of the box for the purposes of this post, although I would admittedly “fluff her up” for real use inworld, since her body is a bit too scrawny for this curvy gal’s taste! Either way, the Junia head shape is GORGEOUS, and is of course, fully mod; the skin packs come with 8 tones — 8!!!!, with brows and without — and all at 50% off.  If you have a Tonic body, be sure to note that the tempting lingerie set, premiering today at the MBA Fair.  Both are definitely worth a demo, and a closer look… 😉

It’s the sad truth that I spend a lot of time alone inworld. It’s actually how I came to be a blogger. My long-time partner has a very busy life in the real world but he’s definitely worth waiting for, so I was looking for someTHING (as opposed to someONE else) to occupy my time. Who knew I’d discover something that I love to do this much!?!  The point is that I tend to take a great many shots to use just one final image; it’s extremely rare that more than one from a series makes it “into print”.  This is one of those rare instances since I’ve been blogging multiple items from Tonic in advance of their availability, and they’re all just so gorgeous, how can I not?
