I don’t know if you’re one of those confident people who can walk into any situation and just feel like they belong. Me, I’m a decent faker. Inside I rarely feel like I quite fit in, but I’m told that it usually doesn’t show. It’s a skill I worked long and hard to develop, because I’m always worried that everyone can hear that little voice that I hear, and just see how I’m not one of “them”. Sometimes I wonder if everyone feels that way to a degree but that they just don’t let it bother them. Me, I often have a soft panic going on under the surface that Everybody Knows… and mind you, this is not just IRL but here on the grid as well. The difference is that in Second Life I know that I always look the part, that I know how to pull a look together. Maybe that’s why I’m a shopaholic?
