This is my last post of the year, and how could I end without at least one pic in a traditional Christmas or New Year’s setting?  Being me, I naturally chose the Sexy Santa outfit over the classy evening gown.  I mean how could I resist?  As much as I adore getting all dolled up in formal evening wear, this is the one and only time of year you can walk around in this kind of garb and no one thinks twice about it.  With time for just one more pic, the choice was relatively easy.  Especially when an outfit is as cute and sexy as this one…  though I also couldn’t resist putting myself in a not-so-sexy situation lol!   So Ho Ho Ho and Be Merry and all that… Happy Holidays, stay warm, and I’ll see you next year!!!

With all the turmoil and hate in the world, not to mention the never-ending barrage of commercialization, it can be hard to find (and hold onto) that joyous and inclusive feeling of the holidays.  And don’t get me wrong… I LOVE all the shopping and the beautiful holiday and wintry sims to explore… it’s more in the real world, that sometimes tends to seep even into our idealized fantasy world.  That spirit of the holidays just gets lost all too often behind all the trappings and yes, even the politics.  So I’m out there trying to shine my tiny little light in the darkness, helping to find that elusive spirit of the holidays, wherever it may be…

This will be my last fantasy post this year… throws a huge handful of fairy dust, wishing you the best of the holidays and a happy transition to the new year!!!

My last week before we leave, and the panic is starting… one dog is coming with us; one is staying behind with a lovely pet sitter but at HER house… and that leaves the cats and the birds.  A neighbor who was supposed to take care of them seems to be MIA, so I’ve been busy rounding up alternates just in case, but it’s stress that I really don’t need at this point.  I’m also eyeing all those gifts that need wrapping… who ever said it’s the most wonderful time of the year must have been crazy lol!  But there’s no denying the beauty of the season… all the twinkling lights make me smile every night when I walk the dogs… although there is one person on the street who put out so many giant inflatables that it looks like a showroom, and is just so very tacky… I fantasize about casually sticking a pin in them all, but would of course never actually do anything like that (though admittedly some nights the urge is quite strong lol)… Glances at the time, which is a-wasting… time to move on!  Happy shopping and holiday prep!!!!

Well there’s no denying that holiday time is here.  Christmas lights are out, the holiday music is going non-stop in every single retail store, whether they’re selling food, hardware, clothing, or the most expensive jewelry.   In early December (like now), it all feels festive and fun… especially the lights, I just love the sparkle.  However, I know that by the end of the month, it will be “enough already”, but that point is still off in the (maybe not too distant) future.  For now, I’m going to hang decorate my SL home and property, keep the candles lit and enjoy the music and the decorations!!!  Happy December!!!!

Oh my, I had so much fun with this pic!!!  Now that I live in Florida, snow (not to mention snowball fights!!!) seems so distant and so wonderful…  Lots of fun memories from real life and quite a few here on the grid over the years (and that freezing down to the bone chill is receding into the distance)… and who knows? I live on a four-season parcel on a truly fabulous estate; last week I logged in after being off SL for a few days with all the Thanksgiving hubbub, and my home had become a winter wonderland.  I love it!  However,  it does require a great deal of re-landscaping for the multitude of home decor items that I’ve used to decorate my property.  I was thrilled to find this gorgeously detailed gazebo that merits permanent placement since it includes seasonal textures that will keep it perfect all year round!
