Oops, I’ve done it again. I’ve been told the worst thing someone who blogs heads and/or skins can do is fall in love with one of them. I seem to run counter to that… I fall in love repeatedly, but then again it’s how I became a blogger in the first place. I’ve been loving this head — Mae from LOGO — since I first put her on at the very end of last year; I think she’s beautiful but with a lot of character. IMHO this new skin just kicks her looks up to another level. She’s new, and both the skin AND the head are on sale. Demos of both are available. (And if you don’t know LOGO, it’s a truly amazing system of customizable HUDs.) I promised in yesterday’s blog that I’d give the details, and here they are. Happy shopping!
- Head: LOGO – Mae. Also wearing the included Mae eyes (the HUD lets you choose the color). Mae comes with her own skins, hairbases, makeup, shape, eyebrow shaper, talking animations, & built-in expression animations. There’s even an alternate version of these animations that include ear movements for use with LOGO Bento Expressive Elf Ears! (It should be noted that in order to use the skins, makeup, animations, etc. you do need the Customization HUD.) The head also includes the AO Neutral which is an amazing little low-script HUD that lets you have some ongoing expressions all the time without worrying about lag! On sale for 50% OFF at the February eBento event, February 11th to 29th.
- Skin & Shape: LOGO – Amelia, together with the Amelia shape which is specifically made for the Mae head. Amelia includes 6 skin tones in both applier & BOM versions, each of which has 6 brow color choices, plus 8 standard & 8 enhanced lipsticks. I’m wearing Amelia in “blossom” with red brows & one of those lipsticks; everything else is “as is” (although I did of course modify the body to my own shape); I didn’t even change the makeup, even though options were included. I learned a new trick though… the tonality of the lipstick shades vary for each skin tones, but you can install the lipsticks from any of the skin tones into your HUD no matter which skin you wear. On sale & EXCLUSIVELY available at the February eBento event, February 11th to 29th.
- Jewelry: Stone’s Works – Hoops & Spheres Necklace & Earrings (sold separately). Absolutely stunning, with a resizer built in so you don’t have to worry about them being too big or too small for your size. EXCLUSIVELY available at Hope 2, the Home & Garden Expo to Benefit Relay for Life from February 13th to March 2nd, which this year includes “Wearable Arts”. These items are each a 100% donation so your purchase goes to an incredibly worthy cause.
- Hair: Besom – Maddy
