Although I’ve received a lot of grief over the years because I read so much (the majority of which just rolls right off my shoulders), I have to admit that I’ve rarely been so thankful that I have the ability to lose myself in a book for hours at a time. If it wasn’t for the fact that I’m a chronic migraine sufferer, I could easily spend an entire day (and night) reading. And no, I wouldn’t run out of books; I have a stack of hundreds of “to be read” books in the corner of my office, and I’d certainly rather read them than pack them up and move them to my new house (if we ever actually get to move, that is) just to have them sit in a corner and get slowly picked off while simultaneously being added to. I have definitely made some good inroads during quarantine, and read some wonderful books. In fact, the combination of reading, Second Life, a video game, and chores around the house is basically the sum of my day, EVERY day, and up here in NY it looks like it will continue to be that way for quite a while yet. Well, time to turn the page, as it were. Remember: stay safe out there!
