I don’t work in SL (outside of blogging, which occasionally feels like work, but I take constant breaks to prevent that from becoming routine), but sometimes it’s nice to dress in SL a bit more like I would IRL if I WAS working. It’s true fantasy since I no longer work IRL any more lol! But work dress for me would definitely mean more sedate, nowhere near as “exposed”, yet still stylish. From my more corporate days, there were definitely days that I needed something that I could wear from high-level meetings directly to a night out… THIS is the perfect outfit for going straight from work to drinks and dinner with that someone special (or someone who might turn out to be)… or just when you want to look smart and well put together no matter where you may end up.
