Wow… you know how sometimes the world is just lollipops and roses, and everything you do just goes right? Well, that has definitely NOT been my night so far. The evening started with the most ridiculous thunderstorms… the house was literally shaking, and all the animals were nervous (and I’m not a fan of thunder and lightning myself, so it’s hard to be the strong mom for all my four-legged children). Then when I cooked dinner — which in itself makes it not my night, since I’m rarely the cook these days — I TOTALLY screwed up a recipe that I’ve made hundreds of times of before. It was still edible, but that’s about as far as I’ll go. After dinner, we watched the end of Season 3 of Stranger Things… soooooo disappointing, this whole season. Such a shame. But to top it off, and what’s REALLY gotten to me is that I’ve been trying for two hours to get into my dashboard to write my blog for tomorrow morning… and now that I’m in, I’m so aggravated that all I can write about is how bad this evening has been. Sighs… oh well, I guess it’s just one of those nights where I should call it a day, go to bed, and hope that when I look in the mirror in the morning, it’s a better tomorrow! (See how I worked that in? Not that smooth, but hey, it’s been a rough night!) 😉
