Are holiday songs and jingles stuck in your head yet? I’m certainly not spending a lot of time in stores shopping (I can’t even remember the last time I was at an indoor mall, definitely pre-COVID), and yet I seem to be surrounded by holiday music. It’s at the market, the pharmacy, tv commercials, telephone on holds, and, of course, all over Second Life (and there I DO spend quite a bit of time at events, which are the equivalent of online malls!). I haven’t had my traditional watching of Love Actually yet; I’ll probably do that with my daughter when visiting in upstate NY for Christmas, but I definitely have its music on the brain… so much of SL just puts me in that holiday frame of mind, especially when all dressed up in what definitely feels like winter finery, although it’s certainly appropriate for any formal occasion (or non-occasion) year-round. Well I’m off to the weekend sales!!! Happy shopping!!!!
