Ever since I stopped living in the city (which admittedly was decades ago lol) I’ve missed having that corner market to grab those few things you need on the way home (or the way out, for that matter). Now when I need just one or two things I have to go get in either my car or golf cart (!!!) and drive over to the mega-grocery store. I miss the convenience of easy in/easy out, where I really can do a “quickee shop”. But on my way home from an early doctor’s appointment this morning, my stomach was growling and what I realized is that I also miss those fabulous egg, bacon and cheese sandwiches with hot sauce on an English muffin that they made on demand right around the corner.., mmm mmm, wow do I miss the last-minute grab and go deliciousness of that! Oh well, I guess that’s what kitchens are for lol!
