I’ve never played a violin; in fact, the only time I’ve ever even held one was when my daughter was playing it in school , but I’ve always loved the sound of the strings. It’s amazing what skilled people can do, with any instrument really. I also love that expression — “played me like a violin”. It communicates so much, the ups, the downs, the thrills, the despair, and everything inbetween. My life has been in the “presto” range (somewhat frenetic) of late… trips to the ER with my husband, getting ready for a week-long trip later this week, trying to get as much of my Sept blogging commitment done before leaving on Thursday just in case we don’t get back when we think we will (hello, Hurricane Lee, please make up your mind if you’re going to mess with our trip!)… Takes a deep breath, concentrating on the music, hearing a new movement starting… Happy Shopping!
