Mmmmm, that luxurious feel of satin and lace, a feast for both the eyes and the skin, but wait! Not yet — it’s only a little sneak peek! Well, there IS a full demo over at the main store, but this exquisite lingerie set isn’t fully available until the MBA Fair opens on August 1st. Sneak Preview: Sierra

There’s nothing more exciting than when a new bento head enters the marketplace, and Sierra will definitely stir up a buzz! Tonic’s second bento head offers her own unique look.  Yes, I’ve modified her shape a bit, but other than that, this is Sierra right out of the box! Her big eyes may seem innocent but she comes “fully loaded”, with skin in 10 tones (both with and without freckles) and multiple brow color options, eyes in 7 colors (or yes, you can wear your own if you prefer), 5 different styles of eyelashes, lipstick (7 colors), eyeshadow (7 colors), even two styles of blush.  And that’s just the start, because the HUD ALSO provides 12 animations, an eye-positioner that can hold the eyes in position even when the HUD is closed (phenomenal for taking pix!), 14 static expressions, and more.  You’ll also get a fully modifiable starter head shape and eyebrow shape.  But you can’t get Sierra yet… you’ll have to wait till her debut at the MBA Fair on August 1st where she’ll be 50% off till the fair closes on the 21st, then return to the main store at it’s normal price. .

I’m heading off to the beach today in RL, and all I can say is that it takes an awful lot more work than on the grid.  Inworld there’s no driving, no traffic, no lotions, no red flags… all it takes for a perfect time at the beach is a sensational bikini, sunglasses, some kind of floatie, flip flops, and a hat… then a quick TP to find my perfect spot in the sun!  Sighs… if only it was this easy in RL… and if only I looked this good!

Sometimes I wonder if the ability to continually change our look makes us happier in Second Life or adds new pressure to keep updating and be better.  I know that I’m not fully satisfied… even though I THINK I have finally achieved my initial goal of going to a mesh head — my original look, only better! But still I know that there will continue to be tweaks and new heads along the way; certainly as the technology continues to change, I will evolve right along with it.  But at this point in time, Sandy is definitely my new every day head (and no, I’m not taking bets on how long it will last).  And unlike my pre-mesh days, I DO change skins constantly, depending on the look I’m trying to achieve.  My skin of the day — Bali — is a beauty that really shows off the glorious details of the head (I used the Bali brows; all I did was add freckles) — and she’s available for half-off at the FitMesh Plaza Event.
