Grrrr… I’m a klutz, inworld and out, always banging into things and tripping. Of course inworld I don’t have to worry about getting food all over my clothes (which I’m a total expert at in RL lol)… which would have been a REAL shame with this awesomely sexy dress. The black lace top is so well-designed, it ALMOST hides my nipples (you have to look really really close though to see them); the HUD not only changes the color of the incredibly well-fitting skirt, but also the matching finishing touches — the band at the neck and the cuffs at the wrist, as well as the shoes.  And OMG, the SHOES… these are to DIE FOR heels… so glad I didn’t step in anything LOL!

Trying new things can sometimes be confusing, be exciting, be frustrating, and/or so many other possibilities… but one thing is pretty standard: it’s exhausting.  I’ve been trying all kinds of new things lately… entering not one but two (and maybe even three!) photo contests is just one of them.  I’ve always avoided contests of all kinds, always certain I’d never win and therefore embarrassed to even try. But I finally realized something… a contest is not about winning (though don’t get me wrong, I’d of course love to win lol!), it’s about striving, it’s about participation, it’s about stretching yourself even just a little bit further than you already do.  And that is, yes, mentally exhausting (and depending on the stretch, possibly physical as well). Wow, I need a cigarette break! (Not that I smoke in RL any more lol!)

As for this all new outfit that’s EXCLUSIVELY for those of us who wear the awesome Tonic bodies, all I can say is double-Wow! Pairing the shimmery silk elegance of the blouse and its four levels of sheer (I’m wearing it on high sheer with a bra underneath) with the rich leather sheen of the mini skirt with its strappy thigh slit (in 16 luscious colors!) is a brilliant combo… and I absolutely fell over when I saw these amazing wedges which also have 16 colors that can be mixed and matched together for all kinds of looks.  For me, they were absolutely the perfect finishing touch!

I love the ocean. I love to sit and just watch the water, smelling the salt spray, hearing waves as they strike the rocks or swish on the sands…  What a sense of utter peace and freedom!  The moment I found this pose, I envisioned it by the sea… and as soon as I saw this adorable outfit, I knew it was the perfect choice to help capture at least a little bit of that sensation.. and then everything else just fell into place with minimal effort. I can just hear Tom Petty singing, waves and gulls in the background, as I coast so freely by the sea… Free fallin indeed…

Sometimes it’s good to push yourself a bit out of your comfort zone, and that’s exactly what this ultra-revealing dress from Nala Design does for me. I can only push so far, though, so I’ll admit that adding a thong is my idea; it still leaves my backside fully exposed, while providing just the little bit of coverage I need in front to be able to walk out the door let alone get in front of a camera. With or without a thong, this is definitely one sexy number… anyone who keeps you waiting wearing this outfit must definitely be crazy!

I’m a huge watcher of all the special promos and events (it’s the only way I can possibly afford my SL shopping habit lol).  When I saw this little set on promo,  I just had to have it! Sooooo cute and summery, with such lovely little design touches (I especially love that peek-a-boo floral edging). And it really plays my Tonic curves to perfection!  On  a related note, for some reason, I’m really into glasses all of a sudden, and these are just absolutely wonderful! Mulloy is a new brand for me, and I’m not sure where I picked these up, but I not only love the look, the HUD lets me customize them so that they can match almost every outfit!

I don’t usually wear, let alone blog, free outfits because in all honesty, they generally just don’t look that good.  Featured in FabFree, this lovely little outfit is a notable exception. With an Omega top (10 colors in the HUD) and a cute flouncy little skirt that, yes, comes in Tonic, it’s worth joining the group (it’s free!) to get this stunner of a free group gift. The shoes are free too — a gift from N-Core at the Tres Chic Anniversary Event.  So stop lazing around, and get into shopping mode!

For a long time, it’s seemed that there are two choices in female clothing for their avatars: skin-tight (or really really close to it) and totally baggy (and I mean sack-like). It’s so refreshing to find a really cute summer dress that successfully hits that middle ground, somehow still providing a shapely curve and then using a high-low hem to really draw attention to those long sexy avi legs.  You get the whole package too, with wedged mid-high sandals sporting the same bright summery print as the dress and an armful of bangles in all the right colors. One thing to note for Slink feet… do NOT wear a shoe shape or your sandals will be way below your feet; you might need to adjust your hover as well or you’ll sink through the floor. But making those little adjustments are so worth it for this outfit that’s definitely a delight! And don’t forget… the May Event ends next week, so get it for 50% off while you still can!
