Well, i might be jumping the gun a bit, but then again, maybe not so much!  The calendar may be saying it’s still summer, but it’s definitely starting to feel more fall-like.   During summer in FL, you feel like you’re melting out in the sun doing any kind of activity.  Yesterday, I actually had to wear a light jacket both in the early morning and at dog-walking time in the early evening… and THAT’s the biggest indicator that fall is starting to arrive.  SL stores and sales are brimming with pumpkins and sunflowers (probably featured in my next shot lol!) and even Halloween items (though that’s pushing it a bit far IMHO).  All those lovely photogenic sims are starting to shift as well… me, I’m hoping to jump to a new island before I change mine over lol!  But now it’s time for all that weekend shopping… have fun!

Is there anything better than that refreshing breeze by the water in summer?  No matter how hot it is outside (and down here in FL, it’s already hot much of the time), that ocean breeze can have just enough of chill to make you scramble for a sweatshirt or — as here in my pic — a shrug, just to keep your arms warm.  Sighs, oh to be by the ocean, rather than ensconced in an air-conditioned house, looking at all that beauty and heat outside lol… oh well, that’s what internet shopping is for!!!  Enjoy!

Sometimes you just need a moment to breathe… Considering I no longer have an ultra-demanding job, it’s amazing how stressed I can get.  My 5+ year-old computer has been struggling, not just with SL (BUGSPLAT!) but freezing even with everyday tasks… freezing to the point of having to unplug it, even the power button not working.  We’re going on a 3-week-long vacation in October, and with 3 pets at home, making arrangements for their in-home care has been a huge issue.  And don’t even let me get started with all the health issues that have been cropping up.  Hopefully today marks the beginning of the end for all that.  Computer is ordered.  New monitor is ordered.  Pet care is arranged.  Doctors have been/are being seen.  And I just downloaded a new updated version of Firestorm, so hopefully all that crashing after TPing home will be done.  Breathes deep and appreciates the beauty around me… Enjoy!
