If you lived in NYC during a certain time frame, you may know (or at least have heard of) a dance and night club called the Limelight. It was a pretty unique venue for its time… a converted church, it made quite an impact even from the outside. It was so popular, in fact, that it spawned other locations in the US, but the original has always been considered the most “significant and infamous.” For some reason, the combination of doing a city shot and wearing a skin called Lime brought all kinds of memories rushing back… not just of the Limelight itself, but of the neighborhood, where I lived for many years. The Limelight was just a very New York place, and for those of us born and bred in Manhattan, it holds a special place in our hearts and minds… though I’ll be the first to say that this is definitely NOT the look I would have worn to the club and since I lived only a few blocks away, I would never have been hailing a cab either (not to mention that NYC sidewalks don’t look like this lol)! But those days are long ago and far away, so for now, all i have to say is TAXI!!!! 😉
