So I’ll admit it… I’m suffering a bit from some good old-fashioned jealousy. It’s probably not where your mind immediately goes lol… The fact is that my BFF is off on vacay in Hawaii — HAWAII!!!!! — and the green-eyed monster definitely has been paying me a visit. I love tropical vacations, but I’ve only been to Hawaii once, and that was many many MANY years ago; at the time, we vowed we’d be back, but it’s never happened for one very simple reason… I live on the east coast. Do the math. Bottom line… I’m freakin’ jealous lol!!! So here I am instead, in my virtual tropical paradise, lusting after the real thing, dreaming of the magic of the Hawaiian islands, how it would feel to be there, wondering if they still hand out leis to all arrivals at the airport, how it would look, how it would smell, how the food would taste, the whole experience… on the other hand, this is a whole lot cheaper and there’s no jet lag. At least that’s what I keep telling myself!!! But wait, is that Tiny Bubbles I hear on the breeze????? Aloha oe!!!! 😉
