Maybe it’s because I’m more active; maybe it’s because I’ve gotten to “that age”; maybe it’s because I’m no longer working. All I know is that I’ve discovered the attraction of the afternoon nap. And it’s not like I intentionally go take a nap; generally after a busy day, I’ll go to sit and read for a while in the sun, putting my feet up to give them a rest, and I’ll close my eyes for just a moment to soak in the sun… and then the next moment is an hour or on rare occasion when I’m really tired, two hours later. Cats are very wise creatures; dozing in the sun is very refreshing to body, mind, and soul… mmm, I see a glorious spot of sun on the lanai just calling my name. Might be time for a nap lol!
