It’s been a while since I blogged, at least in terms of my normal schedule (which has in itself been lessened of late). We’re back in medical mode, with lots of doctor’s appointments and all the stress of dealing with yet another unknown. It didn’t take all that long for us to discover that the meds and injections weren’t going to accomplish anything beyond very short-term relief, but we’ve lucked out considering some of the alternatives. Hubby is now scheduled for an outpatient orthoscopic procedure on his back, so things can hopefully start getting back to normal by the middle of next week. Of course I then want to start dealing with my own physical issues lol, but thankfully none of them are as serious or painful as what he has had to endure, but my thinking is that pain is pain, and it’s better to deal with it before getting to that stage. In any case, I found some lovely items for relaxing casual wear, which is perfect for my life at the moment (not that I could ever in a million years wear anything like this IRL lol)… and for some reason, this shot totally reminded me of a book I read with my daughter years and years ago (in her horse phase) about a horse named Misty on Chincoteague Island. We even did a little family vacation there in order to show her the wild horses! Years and years ago; I do hope the horses are still there, I know they were disappearing as civilization moved in closer and closer to their habitat.
