I like this new age. In my former existence, years ago before mesh and BOM hit this world, I had “a look”. Yes, I changed my hair and clothes and wings almost every day, but my skin and ears were always the same (and my horns hadn’t grown in yet). At the time, I thought my look was rather exotic and fae-like; I look back on those pictures and I have to admit it, I cringe. Yes, part of it is just normal evolution, but there was just so little available back then in terms of fantasy look (I remember searching and searching and searching for a skin that had some kind of fantasy makeup lol). Now that I’ve been reborn into this more modern age, I love how easily I can totally reinvent myself, to create whole new looks, new personalities, as the mood or inspiration strikes me. Yes, my shape is pretty constant, but other than that, I’m changing everything all the time… in fact, I’m not 100% sure I’d always be recognized without that little name tag floating above my head! And I’m loving each look, each character, so very much that I often don’t want to change for several days… I want to “live in that skin” so to speak, until my blogging commitments force me to move on… and then I fall in love with the next one! Sighs, maybe that makes me a fickle fae, but if so, I’m a happy one! If it’s one thing I’ve learned… “in the midst of our lives, we must find the magic that makes our souls soar.” I’m finding mine… may you find yours!

- Skin & Makeup: Petrichor – Atharia, worn in Takara. Created in conjunction with []TRAP[], this is another amazingly detailed, gorgeously styled skin that is pure fantasy yet seemingly realistic. Atharia is a personal favorite, though I have no idea how to describe the markings that are on both body & face. Available in 25 color variations, with Bom/Omega/mesh body & head applier versions for both male & female, plus add-ons for makeup (I’m wearing the Lip Stripe, Lighter Lips, & Smudgy Shadow), nails, Uni ears, etc., so it should work for just about every avatar.
