Things have been a bit frustrating of late, on the grid and off. Crashing, teleport fails, rezzing in to HUDs having reset (really a pain for a blogger with HUDs for every clothing item — sometimes even faces on a single item, makeup, hair, jewelry, shoes)… it can be a lot. And yes, I TRY to write down every choice I make (“try” being the operative word). On FlickR, views are way down for some reason, which in turn affects faves and awards… all the things a blogger needs to satisfy current and prospective sponsors, not to mention keeping their own spirits and confidence up. IRL, our cable has been acting up, impacting our streaming channels the most, but sometimes the internet as well (more blogging stress). And I wish that was all, but that said, sometimes you just have to put your chin up and your shoulders back, toss your hair, check your nails, and remind yourself that “you got this”. Seriously, though, I DO have to give myself that little pep talk to boost my confidence both in SL and IRL more often than I would like, but also more often than not, it DOES work.
