Even after almost 14 years here in Second Life, I have to say that the creativity of SL designers continues to amaze and delight me. IMHO, it is most powerful when it comes to fantasy, where imagination comes into play as much as design sense, taste, and attention to detail. I’m thinking that this might be a large part of why I’m finding myself so drawn to the fantasy side of things these days. There are not as many designers, true, but there are definitely those that outdo themselves on ALL fronts. And I’m continually thrilled to be able to share just a few of my favorites as I continue to explore the worlds of imagination on display here on the grid…
- Outfit: Jangka – Elysium. NEW RELEASE, 100% original mesh, & sized only for Maitreya & Legacy, Elysium consists of the dress, separate armbands, & two styles of boots (with/without stocking tops & garters), in 5 different color sets. As always, the styling & the detail is simply exceptional. This outfit is EXCLUSIVELY at the January We Love Role Play as a gacha for 75L/play, Jan 4th – 30th. Demo available.
- Head & Ears: LOGO – Chelsea bento head with Ilvanya Elf Ears. I can’t say enough about either this bento head or the amazing elf ears that style her for fantasy… The ears come in two sizes with a HUD to customize chains, gems, & ear tattoos, but what still knocks me out is that they have their own AO.
- Horns: Petrichor – Sanya Deco Horns. Beautifully shaped, HUD controlled with 80 horn colors, plus more for the metals, skulls, ribbons, gemstones, & more. Also unisex, 100% custom mesh, modifiable & resizable. Truly my favorite horns!
- Scene: Enchanted Fantasy – Winter’s Tale Animated Horse. My poor fae heart has been stolen by a horse! I am totally enchanted by this horse, so beautifully styled with a looping animation that is just so natural! Available at the January Swank Event, open from January 7th – 30th.
