Well, SL life and blogging goes on… My blog is up and working, with a few bugs to figure out (if I can, WP and web designing/managing is definitely outside of my wheelhouse); my beach lot — which I had set up and maintained basically for blogging beachy stuff, but rarely used) — is emptied and up for sale.  Found some abandoned land I like for Thea’s new home (I’m giving her my tier allowance so she can have a bigger place for HER fantasy blogging/SL life)… and of course there’s always SL date night and dancing, dancing, dancing!!! The calendar may not agree that summer is officially over (that day is Sept 22nd), but for most people, Labor Day is the unofficial end.  Even here in central FL, temps are down and a light sweatshirt is needed after dark (though I’m sure it won’t last lol).  IRL stores are already flaunting Halloween and even Thanksgiving paraphernalia (which I think is pushing it a bit), and here on the grid, fall fashions and that gorgeous autumn scenery is rapidly taking over.  I’m already pondering how I’ll redo my land for autumn and when I’ll swap out my tanned summer skin… but for this moment, I’m still enjoying the brilliant sun, deep blue skies, and sexy summer wear! Sometimes it’s the little things that make life sweet, that little highlight that makes you just feel how good everything can be.  For me, it often revolves around food (which is both the good news AND the bad news)…  I always felt that ice cream should be its own food group, at the very top of the pyramid.  I’m a total addict for that creamy concoction in all its varieties.  If things are going well, it’s that extraspecial little spark… when things are going the other way, it makes me feel better (at least temporarily)… and when the sun is shining but it’s not TOO hot, my hair blowing in the wind, well, that’s definitely la dolce vita!

Not much to say today… it’s Monday, it’s hot, REALLY hot, my legs hurt, and I’m feeling more than a bit lonely… yes, this too shall pass (to quote my mother), but for right now, the days are feeling like years, and there are moments when I need to remind myself to breathe…

I’ve never been a morning person, I’m a night owl through and through.  Most people I know go to bed around 10 or 11P… me, since I no longer have to catch that early commuter train, I’m usually up to 1A or 2A.  Many days I get to wake up when I wake up, no alarms, no pressing necessities.  (Early golf dates are one of the few exceptions lol!)  But however long I sleep, I’m still a bit cranky upon waking.  I need that morning coffee tp humanize myself so that I can actually face life head-on and deal with whatever (and whomever!) comes my way… sighs, mmmm coffee…
