I’m one of those people who’s always rearranging the furniture, sometimes to accommodate one large thing (like the Christmas tree!), sometimes because I need to reclaim a few prims, and other times because I see something that I just think will give me that perfect look.  This time was a combination of all three!!!  I had cleared out a large portion of my front room for the Christmas tree and all its presents; upon taking the tree down, I faced a semi-open room and therefore seized the opportunity to move things around.  That somewhat awkward short wall in the front was always a bit of an issue for me, and although I had something there, in my head it was just a placeholder.  When I spotted these sets from my favorite home decor designer (and a sponsor!!!), I just knew they were the perfect solution to “make” that wall.  And I was right!!!  I just love it when my mental images match up to reality, don’t you?  May your shopping be as successful as mine!!!

• Aliz Peacock Chair Set  —  Set of two chairs with pillows on a beautiful fringed rug.  The chairs include bento animations (singles, couples, FF/MM) in both PG & Adult versions.  Note that the set walks the line between green & blueish tones (the chairs are more in the seafoam green, the pillows a bit more bluish); I found it blends perfectly with just about any colors!!!

If you had company for Thanksgiving like we did IRL this year, you probably spruced up your house.  Since your house doesn’t get dirty or messy or just worn out here in SL, you never NEED to do a sprucing up but it’s so much fun to redo a room and get a whole new look.  This year, why not change up the bathroom with a lovely new look? It not only looks great, the sink animations make it fun too!  Easily incorporated into other decor, it can update a forgotten room into a beautifully styled corner of your house.  As always, the lighting impacted the colors a bit, so be sure to check out the pic below for the actual tones.  Happy shopping!

So unless you’ve been living under a rock somewhere in SL, you know that gachas have been banned.  But in their stead, there is now a new system called Next Up that is absolutely legal.  This new system is essentially still gacha BUT shoppers know what the current item available is before purchasing it. There will however be no indication of future items beyond that, so you can still be excited to play multiple times to try get the items you want.  Want ALL the items?  Then, if you prefer, you have the option to purchase the complete set as a fatpack.  It’s a perfect system, in that it works fabulously for big sets where you only want a few pieces but it also works when you want the entire set but don’t want to keep feeding those lindens until you actually get it all.  Now it’s the best of both!!!!   Ooooh, Next Up… Happy Shopping! 

Dreamland Designs:  Sienna Living Room.  New & EXCLUSIVELY AVAILABLE at Secret Garden for the month of November.  Play for the pieces you want on the NextUp system (see the chart below), or buy the fatpack in Adult or PG versions.  In my pic above, I’ve used everything in the set except for the wall lamps, & I have to say, it totally makes that whole side of my room!  Also, both the couch (which is curved!!!) & the rocking chair are just loaded with singles & couples bento animations, while the chaise has some just for singles.  So much fun, in so many ways!!!!

You know the expression “variety is the spice of life”?   Well, when it comes to monogamous long-term relationships (especially in SL), variety is not so much the key, as “change”.   After almost 14 years together with my inworld partner, even that can be a bit harder to obtain.  To keep things fresh, I like to “change it up” by creating new scenes in our home.  This gorgeous dining set with a romantic autumn atmosphere is a perfect example.  I welcomed him inworld on “date night”, waiting in the moonlight on our back deck, sitting at the table, using one of its built-in single animations, perusing my ipad.  Upon his arrival, I moved to the delightfully romantic cuddles built into the table.  With the adult version, you can even move on from there if you so choose.  Wherever you choose to set up this set, it looks amazing and sets a lovely mood.  Perfect for Samhain or any other time that calls for fall splendor (and maybe even that perfect touch of romance to spice things up)!

The pumpkin decor has a beautiful light sparkling.  Also includes hanging lights, which I didn’t use since I placed this outdoors on the deck.  Rezzes as a complete scene so you don’t have to start moving individual items around to get them in place.
