An abandoned warehouse… what a marvelous photo background! The minute I saw it, I knew I had to work with it, but I’ll admit it took a bit for the pieces to fall together because (as usual) I started to overthink it. Then, with all the madness of the season, it finally hit me that EVERYONE needs to escape for some peace and quiet every once in a while, and then it was easy.  I picked just one corner of the background (there’s a shot of the full piece below) because I just absolutely adored the touch of the rat hiding underneath the tilted box (yes! it comes with the rat!!!) and I wanted to be sitting down so I could properly show off both this fun tattoo and these amazing fringed ankle boots (I’m a fringe fanatic)…

Grave reflections…

You really never know where inspiration will come from.  Wasn’t it just yesterday that I was bemoaning how Halloween was already becoming ho hum? Then wham! I see these awesome “Grim Graves” props from Circa and suddenly here I am, excited to be doing a whole new Halloween-themed post lol… So much more fun to be in the Halloween spirit … I don’t know what had come over me… maybe I ate a bad shroom lol… in any case, I absolutely ADORE this look I put together.  And I DO mean “put together” because it’s lot’s of assorted bits and pieces from JR Wolf Creations, a designer that is new to me because I never realized they made things in Tonic sizes! And look: even these absolutely ADORABLE little half-gloves come in Tonic!!!  Everything fits together so perfectly it looks like it was created as an outfit! Lots of madness going on over at The Mad Circus… it’s an event not to be missed!
