If you’re not a Game of Thrones fan, then you may not get the title of this post, but if you are, then you understand… completely!  I don’t know about you, but while I’m so excited that the next season of Game of Thrones will start soon — April 14th — I’m also kind of sad, because it’s the final season.  That’s the problem with a wonderful miniseries, or a wonderful book… at some point, they come to an end, and you are left to imagine what comes next.  The good news? I have a WONDERFUL imagination… hopefully you do too! 😉

Blogging is a strange thing. Some pictures can take hours and hours or even days, between putting together the look, the scene, the editing, the writing.  Nothing feels right, it’s all somehow out of sync. Others just seem to naturally fall into place with an image blossoming in your head almost like a piece of music. Thankfully these days most of my pix fall into the latter category, with this being a prime example. It’s already a whirlwind holiday season in Second Life, with even more events than usual and tons of wonderful must-have items both to buy and to blog, some supporting American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life (which I always indicate in the blog copy).  It’s exhausting, exciting, and sometimes tempting to take the easy route and go with “good enough”, but anyone who knows me, knows that I ALWAYS do things the hard way lol! Which doesn’t mean I’m not willing to take a moment now and then, and just stop, breathe and collect my thoughts. Now let’s think… who’s been naughty and who’s been nice? Need to keep those lists straight… 😉

Grave reflections…

You really never know where inspiration will come from.  Wasn’t it just yesterday that I was bemoaning how Halloween was already becoming ho hum? Then wham! I see these awesome “Grim Graves” props from Circa and suddenly here I am, excited to be doing a whole new Halloween-themed post lol… So much more fun to be in the Halloween spirit … I don’t know what had come over me… maybe I ate a bad shroom lol… in any case, I absolutely ADORE this look I put together.  And I DO mean “put together” because it’s lot’s of assorted bits and pieces from JR Wolf Creations, a designer that is new to me because I never realized they made things in Tonic sizes! And look: even these absolutely ADORABLE little half-gloves come in Tonic!!!  Everything fits together so perfectly it looks like it was created as an outfit! Lots of madness going on over at The Mad Circus… it’s an event not to be missed! And don’t forget Syndicate Sunday for this amazing “Grim Grave”… that’s THIS Sunday… details below on everything… and watch out… you can see what the gravestone says… 😉
