Today’s the day…  the 2021 Fantasy Faire is going to end.  I’m so very thankful that it was extended through today the 12th (it was scheduled to end on the 9th): in the last few days I’ve managed to more deeply experience some realms that I’d barely touched upon earlier, not to mention pick up so many wonderful finds for both my home & garden and for my appearance.  Fantasy Faire has already relayed more than $86,000USD to help fight against cancer, and I’m proud to say that more than a few of my precious lindens are in that count!  (In fact, though my heart and mind are sad that FF is ending, my wallet is very very happy!).  I do want to say that I’ve been so very impressed by so many fantasy designers, and have been inspired to take some new risks and experiment with my look more than before. .. I even went out and bought some new land to create my own fantasy hideaway, rather than continue living in my Linden treehouse (that’s where yesterday’s post was, on my new land!!!)  But I couldn’t let the Faire end without at least one more post, one more character… not a warrior, not a princess, but more of a priestess, getting ready to close the portals till next year…  Spreading a little fairy dust in these few words, wishing you Happy Shopping, and a wonderful end to your Faire experience.

  • Outfit:  Dark Fairy Fashions – Ageate Gown (Agate Galaxy).  A medieval velvet gown with cropped shoulders, finger sleeves, & a metallic gold belt, Ageate is a perfect addition to a fantasy wardrobe!   • Skin, Horns, & Staff:  Petrichor –  Both the skin & the horns are available in the main store & at the Faire store; the Staff is a New Release especially for Fantasy Faire. The Faire store in The Cerulean Bombora, located HERE. 
    • Skin:  Lazulien Gemstone Skin, worn in Bahliea.  Every skin from this designer is highly detailed, gorgeously styled, & pure fantasy to its core.  I just love the subtle texturing/shading of this skin, which is available in 25 color variations; gemstones are on the tattoo layer.  In Bom/Omega/mesh body & head applier versions for both male & female, plus add-ons for nails, Uni ears, etc., so it should work for just about every avatar. 
    • Horns:  Sanya Decohorns, which are 100% custom design, have two different color HUDs available (color or fade; I’m using the fade); both HUDs include options to individually color the horn base, the metals, the skulls, ribbons, tassels, & gems.  Unisex, moddable, & resizable!
    • Staff: Araleus Staff.  100% custom mesh & textures, with a HUD to change everything (30 colors for the metals; 40 for the fabric; another 40 for the gemstones!  Unisex, with 12 bento holds. 
  • Makeup/Tattoo:  not a peep – Prophet’s Vision. The watcher, the prophet.   • Wings:  –FAS– – Bento Faery Wings.  I’ve been featuring these wings since I first found them because the texture HUD with its 23 fabulous variations have matched every look I’ve tried so far, plus an AO that makes the wings move in just glorious ways.  At the Faire store in The Wandering Woods, located HERE.  After that, check the mainstore.

Also worn: Ilvanya Elf Ears, which fit seamlessly to my Bella head, & come with both their own AO & also their own customization HUD so you can change the skin color, tattoo & metals to match every outfit (full tinting ability included!)… love love love my ears!  Demos available.

Sighs wearily… this fae is not feeling so bright-eyed this morning… the portals were beckoning, and I stayed up WAYYYY too late last night exploring Fantasy Faire 2021.  I think (and I’m stressing the word “think”) that I’ve now at least touched down in every one of the 21 regions, but I’m really not sure since I kept getting distracted by all the sights and sounds (dancing up on a skyship in The Dark Awakening!), and yes, all the magnificent wonders in the more than 200 shops.  Fantasy Faire really is a feast for the eyes, though I personally find it a bit humbling when surrounded by such amazing creativity.  So many times I’ve crossed through a portal to say “oooh, I think this is my favorite realm” to just say the exact same thing when crossing over into another.  So much to see, so much to do, so much to buy, and so much good to contribute! As of the end of the 4th Faire Day, Fantasy Faire 2021 has already relayed L$6,246,147… that’s $24,984 USD to fight cancer! Whether you are fantasy folk or not, come explore the lands and see what it’s all about.  There’s a list of all the realms HERE; or there are handy slurls below to tp directly into six of them below.  If you feel wings brush by you as a fae rushes by laden with shopping bags, accept my apologies now and take a moment to say hello.  Remember, the portals close for the final time on May 9th… after that you have to wait a whole year!

  • Dress:  Dreaming Thicket – Asclepia Gown.  This gorgeous gown, inspired by various butterfly species, is a new release for Fantasy Faire 2021.
