Sighs wearily… this fae is not feeling so bright-eyed this morning… the portals were beckoning, and I stayed up WAYYYY too late last night exploring Fantasy Faire 2021.  I think (and I’m stressing the word “think”) that I’ve now at least touched down in every one of the 21 regions, but I’m really not sure since I kept getting distracted by all the sights and sounds (dancing up on a skyship in The Dark Awakening!), and yes, all the magnificent wonders in the more than 200 shops.  Fantasy Faire really is a feast for the eyes, though I personally find it a bit humbling when surrounded by such amazing creativity.  So many times I’ve crossed through a portal to say “oooh, I think this is my favorite realm” to just say the exact same thing when crossing over into another.  So much to see, so much to do, so much to buy, and so much good to contribute! As of the end of the 4th Faire Day, Fantasy Faire 2021 has already relayed L$6,246,147… that’s $24,984 USD to fight cancer! Whether you are fantasy folk or not, come explore the lands and see what it’s all about.  There’s a list of all the realms HERE; or there are handy slurls below to tp directly into six of them below.  If you feel wings brush by you as a fae rushes by laden with shopping bags, accept my apologies now and take a moment to say hello.  Remember, the portals close for the final time on May 9th… after that you have to wait a whole year!

  • Dress:  Dreaming Thicket – Asclepia Gown.  This gorgeous gown, inspired by various butterfly species, is a new release for Fantasy Faire 2021. My wings are drooping, I’m so exhausted from my initial explorations of the Fantasy Faire and all its wonders! But oh, such wonderful exhaustion, there’s just so much to see and do, and of course, buy!  I very VERY recently moved to new land, so I’ve been visualizing so many of these wonders at my home, counting prims, making trade-offs… sighs, if only I could have it all!  I’ll have to once again start searching for a spell that will magically make prims not count!!! But oh, it all looks so lovely!  Here’s just a small corner that I’ve created using items from 5 fantastic vendors…  there’s a handy link to every Faire land, to every store, right HERE, but I’ve added direct links to each of the booths for the items I’m featuring.  Happy shopping, happy exploring, and above all, remember that the Fantasy Faire is a Relay for Life event, so many purchases are also a donation to this worthwhile cause!!!! The Fantasy Faire is open from April 22nd through May 9th.

  • Grey’s Mind Maze – Strange Eggs Elemental.  Totally unique & startlingly beautiful, each egg element consists of a glowing egg in what looks like goblin fingers, together with flat disk flowers in the same color palette.  Three of the four versions (air, water, fire, earth) are shown (left front, right front, & right back); all have a built-in resizer.  The fatpack is an RFL Donation item, only at the Faire store in The Amethyst Rift, located HERE.
  • Korpokkur House – Koi Pond.  Shown in front center.  Lovely little pond for any setting, fantasy or otherwise; small koi swim over a bottom of overlapping stones, with a large stone & a stand of cattails providing added decor.  An RFL Donation Item, available only at the Faire store in Yin Yang, located HERE.

  • The Olde Attic – In Our Darkest Hour, Search for the Light.  Shown at far right.  A twisting white vine wrapped around a column supporting the Fantasy Faire symbol, together with a few thin, long-stemmed wildflowers & mushrooms at the base of the tree, plus some colorful butterflies flying around the symbol.  Simply beautiful!  Available at the Faire store in Ostara, located HERE.
